Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

Is your Modern Band constantly falling off beat? Are you facing challenges in making your jam sessions engaging to your students? This breakout will focus on how to solve these very common issues. During the session we will cover crucial topics such as how to build a steady groove with all of your students, layering in instrument sections, keeping the jam interesting by carving out solo sections, improvising song arrangements, and call & response strategies. A jam session will look and sound differently depending on your age group so this session will focus specifically on Middle and High school aged students. By the end of the workshop, you will feel empowered and be ready to run super fun jam sessions with your kiddos that will keep them wanting more!
