As much as we’d all love another teacher in the class, the Rolling Stones remind us, “(we) can’t always get what (we) want.” However, we can make our lives easier so we can have more time to help our students by creating engaging play-a-long tracks to use in the classroom! This workshop will provide tools to help students understand form, hear meter and chord changes, and find their way when lost in a song. Topics include editing out inappropriate lyrics, transpose recordings, and making our lives easier by helping to engage our students with technology that enhances their learning and musical experience.
